U. Could you tell us a bit about yourself —where you're from, your age, your profession, or any other interesting details you'd like to share?
B. Hi! I’m Bonita, a California native and founder of KYE Intimates. I currently live in Santa Monica with my husband and pup.
U.How would you describe your style in just a few words?
B.Casual, soft, tailored
U. What's your go-to fashion item that you consider a “classic” for yourself?
B. A classic belt is effortless yet makes you feel just a bit more put together.
U.What has been capturing your interest the most lately? This could include objects, artworks, music, or anything else.
B. We’re currently making a few small home updates and exploring lighting. I'm particularly enamored with Teget by Ana Kraš and brilliant friends’ collections HENRII and J.Hannah.
U. If you had to choose three cherished objects or items you always keep close in your daily life, what would they be and why?
B. 1. my dad’s chain bracelet, 2. sea shells my husband found on our first date,
3. can I say my pup, Kobe? (he’s my most cherished!)
U. Are there any places you enjoy visiting? This might be restaurants, shops, beautiful parks, or other locations.

U. Does your job influence your style in any way?
B. I dress similarly at work but just a bit more tailored. Usually, vintage button-down shirts with denim, or a tee/sweater paired with vintage men’s trousers.
U. Do you have a personal beauty routine? (Skincare, etc.)
B. I double cleanse with an oil-based cleanser followed by a gentle exfoliating cleanser, especially after a day in the sun. Then I use jojoba oil and lip balm. 2-3 times a week, I treat myself to LESSE’s beautiful charcoal mask.
U. What are your favorite travel destinations or beaches? Can you share your tips or routines for relaxing at the beach?
B. Favorite LA Beaches: Carbon Beach, El Matador Beach, Lechuza beach, Leo Carrillo.
Favorite Hawaii beaches: Two Steps (favorite snorkeling in Kona), Anini Beach (Kauai), Waimea Beach (North Shore, Oahu)
We do a big coastal road trip once a year either up to Big Sur or Sea Ranch, stopping along the way for a swim and oysters. Twice a year, we visit our hanai in Hawaii.
Tips: Pack light! SPF, lip balm, sunglasses, a towel/beach blanket, a good book, a Nalgene bottle and snacks (so you can stay a while :) ).
U. Could you share some tips for choosing good underwear?
B. It’s quite personal for everyone but always choose comfort! Have enough for at least a good week: A set for everyday wear and a set for rest/sleep/menstrual cycle.
U. How was your experience wearing Urbanic30 clothing for this campaign? Was there a specific piece that stood out to you, and how would you style it in your everyday life?
B. All the pieces are so intentional and beautifully crafted. The Carpenter Denim Pant is a perfect fit and luxuriously soft. It can be easily dressed up with a heel or pared down for the beach.
